COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

VDuquerroux (1405) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - JAN 15, 2017
Bottle, 33cL. Home. A golden clear beer with a big white foamy head ; some yeast sediments ; good retention. Herb, old biscuit, honey, heather, flower, light citrus. Medium dry bitter refreshing, light to medium spicy, light sweet, light warming. Medium body, light to medium texture, average carbonation, floral spicy bitter finish. Overall, fair ; too harsh spicy.

?) Fin de bouche plutôt sèche ! Bonne découverte mais pas mes attentes.

pivnizub (10312) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 8, 2016
Bottle(0.75l): Deep golden, hazy to cloudy, bigger - firm white creamy head; moderate nose of herbal-piney hops, some malt and a very distinctive yeasty backbone detectable; moderate, dryish, bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium-bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering bitter-yeasty finish. O.K., but the belgian yeast does not harmonize very well with the hops...

Bottle from Belgibeer, hazy gold with a lasting fine head, lots of sweetcorn and a hint of apple on the nose, full bodied with more sweetcorn and a dry peppery bitterness.

Carbinnation moyenne. Trouve à la Brasserie Delneste - Froidmont.

Bottle 33cl. Slightly hazy deep golden, huge frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing; light fruity aroma, grain, lemon, grass, herbal notes; taste medium sweet, light bitter touch, bit fruity, light malty; medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, develops more bitterness in the aftertaste but especially rather spicy (pepper, ginger, coriander) and a bit dusty; ok.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild spices, some floral and bready notes along with mild grain. Flavour is grainy, some wooden notes as well as mild salty and yeasty notes. Easy going and a surprising bland brew from this brewery. Almost lager like, but Lager not mentioned on the bottle.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, large white head. Aroma hops, sourdough bread. Quite full body for this type of beer. Taste follows aroma, leaving long hoppy finish. In a way quite similar to Taras Boulba, one of my Belgian favourites. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
