COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Couleur : Blond or
Houblons : Brewers Gold, Pioneer
Température de service : 6-8°C
Verre : verre tulipe de la brasserie

27/XII/14 - 75cl bottle from Amon Tchiniss (Malmédy) @ holidays - BB: IX/2013 (2014-1544)

Gusher alert!
Clear deep blond to orange beer, huge off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sourish, brett, lemony, grassy, reminds be a bit of Orval, actually! MF: lots of carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit funky, sourish, pretty bitter, grassy, citrus, soft sourness. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, some grapefruit, brett, bit sourish, funky, some dairy.

Draft @ Delirium.

Slightly hazy orange-gold beer with peach shine; good off-white head, rather stable. White candi sugar, citrus, both pale and coloured malts in the nose. Toasted taste, quite sweet, bit of caramel or even toffee, and a pinch of citrus. Retronasal even licorice and a bit of almonds. Quite light bodied, not very highly attenuated. Bit fizzy - or is that the temperature it was served at? Not very high-brow, not much going on in there, with a malt sweetness that is way too marked, making it not very finely balanced.

gyllenbock (10025) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2014
Bottle bought in Brussels, October 2014. A bit hazy golden/light brownish with a small head. Sweet with malt, "candy", some dried fruit and yeast. The bitterness was light. Not my kind of beer.

bottle, donated by jaghana! Golden colour, mid-sized white head. Solid malty base with nice floral-grassy hops. A good one.

(Bottle, Brasserie Lombard, Brussels, 22 Oct 2014) Dark golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, malty nose with bread, grass, citrus and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, peaches, grainy malt and a grassy bitterness in a dry finish with a touch of lemon. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Hansen (8618) - Assentoft, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2013
Yellow coloured and hazy. Has a white head, fully lasting. Heavy hoppy and yeasty aroma, harbal and a bit sharp. Bitter flavor, more herbal notes. Dry, light astringent texture, lively carbonation.

Cunningham (8526) - Halden, NORWAY - JUL 9, 2012
Hazy golden colour with a white head. Fresh citric aroma. Good round texture. Citric, light grassy and a bit sour flvour.
[On tap at brewery together with Grima]

75cl Bottle at RBESG’13 Grand Tasting. Pale amber colour, white head. Aroma is a bit sweet, amber malts, light floral. Flavour is sweet, amber malts, floral, light bitter earthy finish that saves the beer imo. Light-bodied, quite boring.
