Almost like a spiced mead thats also a beer. Interesting and flavorful with the spiced honey flavor that goes down easy. Slight bitterness to offset nicely.

Orange, thin white head. Smell of cinnamonnm white wine, strange spices and honey. Moderate sweet, wine acids, cinnamon, calvados. Moderate bitter, some fermented apples. Quite weird stuff, but quite nice as well

Saison-like ale spiced with woodruff - a herb I remember well from my childhood, so I hope this will bring back memories. Starts off nice, with a thick, moussy, sticky, cream white, stable head and deep amber colour with tiny yeast bits floating around, becoming brownishly clouded after adding the deposit. Aroma of caramelly and honeyish malts with indeed an ethereal woodruff perfume not unlike the woodruff liqueur my grandmother used to make, further impressions of candied orange, rhum, candi sugar, aniseed, mint, Belgian chocolates. Smooth, light palate, orange sweetness, caramelly, subtle spiciness, light herbal hoppiness in the finish along with warm, but unfortunately also astringent alcohol and some residual, cloying sweetness. Rather disappointing ending but in all, not bad.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon. Pours a light brown golden colour with almost no head. Aroma is biscuits, toffee and malts. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is a bit too sweet and medium bitter. Not quite balanced, but overall a nice beer.

Pours a muddy orange/brown with a small tan head. The smell is earthy malt, some spice. Earthy, fruity, spicy, a bit of alcohol, ending with a balance of the earthy malt and dry spiciness. Medium body with nice slightly prickly carbonation. Pretty nice stuff.
