The Belgian version of the Foret marketed in America. Brutally complex, straw, sweet and vitaminny yeast notes, grapefruit, light nuttiness, great looking and delicious. For some reason I prefer my Foret experiences but this one’s no slouch.

Big head, some lacing. Aroma and taste fresh malts, wheat, yeast and hops all well balanced ( maybe a bit too much wheat though ). Some dryness. Good saison.

Navers (185) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 15, 2017
Bottle from Smak Piwa. Beer served in Tulip Glass. Pours slightly hazy yellow, small champagne like head. Aroma of sweet malt, bready, farmhouse. Taste is smooth, slightly sour, apple, pear, mild lime, sweet and fresh.

BBE 09/2017.

Juks (758) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 22, 2017
250ml bottle. Pours hazy orange, off-white thick head stays. Sweet, flowery, citrussy, hay, herbal, aroma. Dung in aroma. Yeast, citrus, hay, banana, wheat, herbs in taste, bit tart. Kinda dusty taste. Dry crisp aftertaste. Medium bodied, lively carbonated. Good saison, enjoyable, crisp and refreshing.

nathanvc (563) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUN 2, 2017
Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours hazy orange/yellow with a minimal, lasting, white head. The aroma contains yeast, grass, hay, wheat, citrus, malt and hops. It tastes medium bitter and light sweet. Hoppy, dry finish, but quenching when served cold. Slick texture and soft carbonation. A good one.

En bouteille de 33 cl de chez Carrefour. Un gout assez caractéristique. Ca sent la Belgique et chez bien fruité!
