Was so elated to see that the new Cuvee Dry Hopping showed up on the shelf at the grocery store.... except it's two years old, great...
In classic Dupont style it pours a pale golden color with a head that's absolutely massive.

The aroma is earthy, floral, and pungent with a little bit of clean maltiness. Not especially hoppy smelling, considering the age that's not a surprise but It smells fresh and lovely despite it.

The flavor is certainly more bitter than I am used to Vieille Provision being & it's quite pleasant. Bone dry with light bits of fruity character, spicy with a bit of earthiness and a clean malt character throughout.

This poor guy didn't present the way he was supposed to after having been warehoused for nearly two years, but all in all he's been a trooper and is no less delicious for it.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2018 hazy golden with big yeast flakes floating around. marvelous head. nose: perfect yeast spiciness, banana, hay, pear, hop grassiness. nice. medium body. dry goodness in the mouth. very classic. very good.

Golden colour, slightly opaque, dusty yeast, weak white head, light bubbliness. Smell is pepper, pineapple, citrus warmth, with subtle vanilla and peaches, herbs. Taste is full bitter with light sourness and an astringent clean finish. Drier than the normal dupont and the bitterness of the hop takes away from the balance. Still, fun idea and nice to try.

bottle. aroma is bitter saison yeasty, herbal, flowery, delicate but nice. flavor is sweet flowery, with notes of fruits, notes of hay, yeasty spices and herbs, dry saison, slightly sweet but not the bad kind of sweet, sweetness appears almost flowery or flower nectar like. a baseline bretty or saison yeasty dryness throughout keeps it very quenching. the hops delicately add some more bitter crispness to the beer, but the saison is the driver. Really nice flavor, very belgian, great saison, the hops does not ruin anything.

Butelka.

Superbalansert. Tørr, lekker og krydret bitterhet i avslutningen. En raffinert saison. Må ha en flaske av denne!

Shared 375 ml green bottle. Golden colour, large white head. Very nice yeasty, spicy and bretty aroma and flavour.

Holmen2 (4487) - NORWAY - OCT 29, 2017
Shared bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 29.10.17. Hazy pale golden. Foamy, dense and persistent white head. Aroma of fresh grass, lemon zest and hints of green banana and coriander. Similar, and very fine, taste. Appropriately lively carbonation. Quite dry. Fine and fresh hop bitterness is lingering on.
