Bottle shared at Ken's. Clear gold fluffy head. Dank and fruity aroma. Taste is dank floral peppery straw. Delicious.

Ici c'est la Belgique. La saison dry hopping est bonne, elle passe vraiment bien. La levure est belge et plutôt douce, la carbonatation assez présente, c'est fruité, l'ensemble est agréable et bien équilibré.

375 ml. bottle. Hazy golden body and a large white rocky head. Very well balanced taste; medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long light bitter finish. Aroma of grass, citrus and herbs.

375 ml cork bottle opened with loud 'pop' bought at HK Brewcraft in Central.

Looks: Cloudy hazy light golden honey colour with lots of dirt-like yeast sediments; Two finger head and crumpety white foam. which lasts for 5 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with fizzy small carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet malt, with pineapples, strong citrus and peels, blueberries, perfume, vanilla, strong bubblegum, floral, sugar, spices, wood, very light cloves, bread, strong Bel yeast and grass.

Taste: Mid to light sweet malt, with strong citrus, red fruits, alcohol, liqorices, floral, fair sugar, strong spices, herbs, earth, bread, strong Bel yeast, lemon, mid to strong bitter hops and strong grass.

Body: Medium body. Creamy and slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Good maltyness in a solid background, slick and quite creamy. Strong citrusy hops mixed well with notable but tasty booze. Very Bel yeasty just like Saison Dupont with bubblegum and spices, Flowery with medium sweetness. Herbal grassy with strong lemon to round. Pretty lively and exciting!

Hoppiness: Strong citrus and peels, blueberries, perfume, floral, spices, wood and grass in nose. Floral, strong citrus, strong spices, herbs, earth, lemon and strong grass in taste; Bitterness is quite strong for a lasting, close to high astringent bitter-sweet malty finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Grassy citrusy and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is pretty much the original Saison Dupont being fused with Eureka hops, in which the perfumey berries aroma and strong citrus bitterness works seamlessly with the base Bel yeastiness, fruity esters and good carbo. Impressive and I like it!

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a mildly hazy golden orange with ample fluffy, fine fizzy eggshell head that dissipates slowly. Smells and tastes of a nice balance of floral and spicy hops, yeast, and damp basement funk. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly robust and lively. Enjoyable, and a great value.

From tap at Café Congé, Ghent, shared with Anke. Pours hazy yellow with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma contains yeast, hops, herbs, spices, bread, wheat and some fruits. It tastes light sweet and medium to heavy bitter, with a dry, wheaty and spicy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Not exactly my thing, though still well executed.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a huge, frothy white head full lasting. Aroma of spice, toasted grain, mustiness, floral hops, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Bone dry finish. The harshest version of the dry hopping series I've had. Extra bitterness and a bit of astringency in the finish with hints of plastic and nail polish remover. Smells good, looks great, feels good, but ...

Bottle, [email protected], Kolding. Pours slightly murky yellow with a medium, staying, frothy white head. Super duration. Aroma has lovely fresh hops, citrus, fresh cut grass, quite resiny, a touch of oregano, melon. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, crisp, good fresh hoppiness, crisp, some biscuits, mild pepper. Very fresh. Actually not as bitter as the original.

Sampler at Grey Sail Brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing. Has the Belgian perfume thing on the nose and tongue along with some funk elements. Finished crisp and clean. Nice.
