For 2017, Olivier chose the Slovenian hop, Styrian Eureka, known for its spicy and earthy flavor.

Pale colored body was cloudy, and very effervescent. The head was large upon pouring, at four fingers thick, and amazingly kept growing as the beer sat initially instead of dying down. The aroma was quite mild and pleasing, giving off smells of pear, banana, and clove. The taste was quite a bit like a Hefeweizen, with notes of banana, clove, and bubblegum. There was also a mild pepper spice in the taste, and just a touch of brett funk. Despite the dry hopping approach, and specific hop variety listed on the label, the hop flavor was quite subdued, and perfectly in line with a typical Saison. The Feel was very smooth and silky, and the beer was very easy to drink. A quality beer, but not all that different than regular Saison Dupont.

ABUSEDGOAT (2852) - California, USA - OCT 11, 2017
Cloudy golden with a large white head that lasts. Aroma is their yeast with notes of hay, grass, light pepper, spicy hops. Medium bodied, low bitterness, yeast present, very pleasant. Did I mention the yeast?

andrepintado (3669) - Porto, PORTUGAL - OCT 10, 2017
37.5cl bottle. Hazy straw appearance. Thin white head. Medium bitterness. Light sweetness. Dry body. Aroma and flavour is earth, pepper, orange zest, citrus.

martpez (339) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2017
Hoppy with a dry hopped taste contrasting with the maltyness adding depth. Lovely texture with a floral touch.

HKdIPA (850) - HONG KONG - OCT 8, 2017
Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy straw yellow a bit dull huge puffy white head. Aroma is mostly big saison but some slight earthy dankness. Happiness less present in the taste maybe because of earthier hops which blends in more with the grass clove banana of the saison. Tingling bitter finish. Slightly rich palate. Worth trying but probably prefer the classic Saison Dupont.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2017 geweldig bier. fris en hoppy. Zeer goed doordrinkbaar. Een streling voor de tong op warme dagen.

Bottle shared by KBL. Dry, noble hop nose, crackers, herbs, citrus, plum maybe. Spicy and herbal, a touch of plastic, quite malty and a bit heavier than usual. Peppery, herbal finish. Good but something missing.

375ml bottle from Sugaya, saison DuPont cuvee dry-hopping 2017. It presents with a white pepper and herbal hop aroma. Light bodied(though it seems a bit fuller in body than the regular version) and dry, this was crisp easy drinking and approachable. Tasty, so easy to drink but not all that complex.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Crisp with citrus and yeast front to back. Dry earth finish.

750 c&c from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is fruity/spicy/earthy. Med + body. Flavor is fantastic - spicy and earthy. Pretty dry. Decently bitter. Good stuff.
