kraddel (8905) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2017
sampled at Zythos 2017. Thnx for sharing , Ruben and Tim. Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is less hoppy than the 2016. Taste is bitter, not too big of a difference towards the regular saison.

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2017. Special hop here is a Slovenian one but the lady forgot at the stand forgot which one. Interesting to see both De la Senne Brussels Calling & this one opting for Slovenian hops for their new edition. Near clear orange, little white head. Nose is banana & bubblegum Dupont yeast, faint green bitterness, Dupont yeast dominates the hop. Taste is Dupont yeast firmly bubblegum, white bread, some banana, rather full bodied, low green hop & white pepper. Body is thick solid Dupont yeast. Nice, solid beer, yeast dominates the hop quite firmly nullifying the beers intention a bit, pretty nice all the same.

(draught) opalescent golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of grainy wheat and grass, with a touch of earth, some sugar icing and earwax. flavour is mostly wheat and clove, with a light hint of black pepper, some yeast, ethanol and a semi-dry finish. heavy-bodied with lively carbonation. not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is peppery, hoppy. Taste is peppery, hoppy, the Saison character mixes well with the hops. Dry finish. Medium carbonation, a bit too spicy maybe.
