Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

Creamy average white (mostly lasting) head into cloudy dark yellow body. Good lacing. Aromas of bubble gum, yeast, banana, and some spices. Flavor is initially lightly sweet and finishes lightly sweet as well but with a unique light bitterness. Light bodied. Dry textured. Soft carbonation. This was an okay brew...not my favorite style.

Golden and light, with a frothy head and beautiful lacing. Malty aroma with notes of banana and thick breadish smells. Flavors of heavy citrus, just a bit of sugar and belgian yeast. Lively carbonation on the palate, with not much of a warm alcohol finish. Personally I like tripels more, but this was alright.

Brready fruit aroma, very nice. Quite hoppy in the mouth, I didnt expect this to be so dry. Very nice, and quite sippy, but I think that I would have enjoyed this much more in warm weather rather than Alaska.

The color was deep golden with a lot of carbonation. The head was creamy, frothy white with what looks like spice on top. The aroma was glue, earthy, alcohol, and hoppy. The flavor was sour, earthy, glue, and bitter. zThe flavor wasnt as strong as I expected it to be. The palate was well carbonated. The finish was clean. I typically dont like saisons, but this one was rather enjoyable. The flavor was less strong than other saisons Ive had. \

Draught at 4th Ave Pub. Hazy amber with a fluffy head. Delicate fruit aromas and flavors--pear, lemon, with a slight bit of yeast and spice. Medium bodied and very well balanced in sweetness, tartness and mouthfeel. I imagine this is one of the better saison imports.

My first Saison. I dont mean to be negative, but it reminds me of a Belgian Budweiser. Burnt yellow color with one finger white head. Light taste, not bad, I guess, for a Saison. It is a very enjoyable beer..goes down very smooth and would be the perfect brew for a cook out.

Pours a golden orange brew with some texture. Poured into a Duvel glass it produces some of the most gorgeous carbonation Ive ever seen and this was the reason I gave the appearance a 4. The head was thick, creamy, and white. The aroma was not very complex at all, it was earthy/sour and yeasty. The flavor was the same, earthy and sour with yeast and some spice. Just not a whole lot going on. The palate was crisp and refreshing. The finish had a light warming effect. I was pretty disappointed with this given the Avec.

Small bottle. Nice champagneish light orangé colour. Yeasty and spicy aroma. The flavor is dry and sour, nicely fruity with a nice bitterness. Great beer!

Bottle. Lemon-golden color. 1/4" head. Lightly lacy. Bready and yeasty to the nose. Taste is similar. Need to re-sample this earlier in the night to do it justice.

Bottle at In de Wildeman, march 07. Hazy golden color and a dense, creamy white head. Yeasty, spicy, aroma, catchy. Phenollic, esthery flavor, dry feeling and salty finnish. Nice, refreshing, dry, medium to light MF. Nice, good, refreshing blonde, but I expected just a bit more.
