Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

A beautiful saison. Id really like to find any saison even close to this quality readily available. I dunno what it is about the stye, but it just doesnt seem to be around alot. This brew had a really nice refreshing character to it. Pretty light when its all said and done. Very Very Good.

From a 2006 bottle. Opened this up, and was scared when I caught a scent of skunkiness, this faded, and left an aroma with hints of fruit and yeast. The beer itself is beautiful, a hazy, cloudy, dark yellow with about a quarter of an inch head, that faded to about a sixteenth of an inch. The flavor is interesting, theres a start of sourness, with an finish with peppery and earth notes in it. Ill try to pick up a fresher bottle of this that I can keep track of how it was stored to re-rate.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with large foam/fizzy head that last pretty long. Aroma is sourish and hefeweizenlike. Flavor is spicy, smokey and banana. Finish is hoppy. A spicy hopy aftertaste, clovelike. Palate is thin and has som dryness. A refriishing beer.

Bottle at Erasmus Bruges. Pleasant, mild saison. Lightly spiced and served cold. Good hopping and very refreshing. Good summer beer.

(Bottle) Pours a yellow with a significant amount of floating yeast. White head. Good mouthfeel and body. Spicy aroma, much like a hefeweizen. Taste is much of the same. Dry, sour notes with a hint of fruit (maybe apricot?) and some light allspice. An interesting brew.

750ml bottle. Whoa. The cork popped right when I unscrewed the wire thing. Thats surprising. So beware people. Pours a pale golden color but 99% of the beer is a white head right now. The lace is ridiculous. Incredibly thick. Aroma is sweet, light fruit, yeast, cloves, vanilla, banana. Smells like a hefeweizen. Taste is smooth, lightly spicy, fruity. Very drinkable but balanced. A little more funkiness or character would be nice but this is still a nice beer.

Brux 07. Pours a hazy amber with a small, white frothy head. Light sweetness with a strong bitterness. Light aromas of perfume, plums, honey and a hint of bubble gum. Long dry finish. Quite champagneish.

hazy golden orange with a big white head. very little lacing. more like spots hereand there. citrus in the aroma with some funky yeast. tingly nice refreshing citrusness then moves into some killer dryness. medium to full mouthfeel with a long finsh. very enjoyable refreshing saison but i do enjoy them wit a touch more musty funk.

37.5 cl bottle. Strange aroma. Reminds me of the linoleum paste from years ago (thats an honest comment; I have not thought of that stuff in decades). Something of a brown yeasty smell. Color is an orange tinged gold, with a white head that didnt stick. Full mouthfeel. Citrus is the principal note. Definitely dry. Definitely hoppy. Stone fruit comes up after awhile. The aroma loses the weirdness. Begins to seem like a fruity pilsener. This ale changes from moment to moment. Quite an experience.
