COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

Bottle from Beermerchants. Hazy gold with fluffy white head. Nose has mild caramel cola fondant softness. A dry spicy funk. Lovely sweet and warm. Spice flavours warm the chest. A soft banana fruitiness follows. A dry earthy grassiness finishes. This beer feels smooth medium bodied with a pin sharp moderate sparkle. Soft chewy fruitiness with a dry farmhouse balance. Although perhaps (disappointingly) a little bold to be sessionable it is definitely a firm leader of its style. Terrific.

Colore arancio, schiuma compatta, cremosa e persistente. Delicati aromi di lime, pesca, crosta di pane. All'assaggio limone, spezie . Corpo medio, Carbonazione abbondante, leggere note acide. Una birra sempre in equilibrio perfetto dall'alta bevibilità sempre fresca e dissetante.

Bought one to give it a try. After uncorking it, I can detect a strong skunk smell from sniffing the cork, and the bottle is scented the same. Taste is yeast, spicy hops, and that same skunky taste-- but the skunk note is very slight and actually adds to the beer's taste! Beer is well-carbonated, and finishes clean and refreshing with a spicy aftertaste. Beer is very good overall. Very recommended. Would buy more often but the price is around $6 for a 12.7oz bottle, so this will remain a treat for me until they drop the price.
