What a great aroma which surrounds the opening of my snifter. Banana, cheese, barnyard funkiness. Large foamy head which is uneven. Flavor is sour, but sweet and fruity as well and is balanced nicely. Yeasty with a dry finish. For the saison style, this is top notch. french tickler (648) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 16, 2006
Drank in a tulip. Murky yellow poor, amazingly HUGE white longlasting head. Very herbal, pepper, citrus, corriander, a little bit of ginger, pine resin. Dry mouthfeel, a little bitterness. What you smell is preaty much what you taste. Very interesting beer. Not spectacular, but definitely worthy. gnoff (11053) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 13, 2006

(33 cl bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm)
Shady golden color, small white head. Malty dry grainy scent. Malty sweet a bit bitter and acid scent. Thin mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste. Clearly not my type of beer this one.
(Bottle from Systembolaget)
Color is light straw yellow, shady with yeast particles. Big white head. Aroma is banana and reminds me of a Belgian wit, coriander.Taste is of Belgian ale, coriander and other spices. High co2 spritzy body, low bitterness.
Bottle. White high and lasting white head. Hazy light yellow body. Light banana aroma. Sweet flavor with just a bit of bitterness at the end. JMFG (1587) - Florida, USA - NOV 11, 2006
375 mL bottle. Poured a golden straw color with a very thick dense white head. Sweet floral aroma, I smelled a hint of an unknown spice, reminiscent of a licorice/anise smell. Taste starts off bitter and tangy and finishes dry. Very nice.

750 ml Bottle: Beautiful white foam, straw colored with normal haze. Mild sour cirtus aroma with some notes of sweet cream and pine. Taste started with mild citrus, them moved on to a wonderful hop bite. Finish was mild and could have been longer. Very solid beer, I can see why it defines the style for many. dkoonce (911) - People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2006
375 ml bottle. Pours a massive head that dwarfs the beer in the glass. After all settles, the beer leaves a loose frothy head. Fairly fruity aroma, but some off tones. Dry and tart. Takes a couple of sips to fully appreciate. tykjen (183) - Florø, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2006
Icredible fruitiness, long dry finish. Peppery taste with yeast and green apples. Quite cloudy with a long lasting head. juggernaught (4) - USA - OCT 26, 2006 does not count

Corked bottles are always a plus, with my cork labelled 2.006. Poured well with a nice head.
Decent appearance with very nice aroma. Dry finish, noticable carbonation, a bit too yeasty for my liking. First saison i’ve tasted. Don’t know if I’m a fan of the style.
Draught at Caves Dupont, the brewery tap, cloudy golden with a large thick white pillowy head. Floral notes and spice int he aroma. Smooth palate with a lasting dry finish. Flowery flavours at first, but then peppery and grassy in the finish. Very drying - but you can taste the quality.
