Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

Oikein maukas. Tuulensuussa Jaakon ja Samin kanssa.

Darker gold with slight white foam. Aromas of over ripe fruit and definite earthy funk. Light bitterness and a bit sour. Medium high carbonation, with a light mouthfeel. Finish is a bit astringent, and a funky dry aftertaste remains.

Second saison after the disappointing "avec Les bons voeux" from the same brewery. This one is way more balanced and delight to drink. Pour a beautiful yellow body clouded by the yeast, the head is perfectly white of 3 cm. Smell is yeastery and slightly alcoholic. Dry and sharp body with a spicy after taste and a slight honeyish/caramel finishing taste Very good beer overall

01.10.2016 - 0,75l bottle from Bierhandlung. Yeasty fruity nose with nice white head. Smooth mouthfeel. Well drinkable and dry grassy taste. I also like its relatives Biologique and Cuve Dry Hopping 2015 with Minstrel hops.

Originally rated on 12/3/08. This one was hard for me to rate on the aroma and flavor columns because upon pouring and the first few drinks there was a pungent skunky smell and taste, however with some airing out it settled and some aromas and flavors appeared. Aromas (later) of sour green apples, slight hints of banana and spices. Flavors were similar to the aroma with a fruity start going into a dry finish. Mouthfeel was substansial but light, and the sourness made it dry. Saisons are not my favorite style and i dont have much experience with them and this bottle was an enigma, but i wouldnt mind giving it another try someday.
