Simple as it can get. Some yeast and hops with a strange bitter aftertaste. The best thing about is that "coq" on the front of the bottle. McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2013
Big bottle. Hazy deep brown-amber colour with low steady head and medium body. Nose of caramel and honey. Taste of vanilla, mild, light dusty hops, straw, brown sugar and malt. Easy to drink but just nothing special. Holmen1 (6651) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 23, 2013
Flaske delt i garasjen med Ovesen: fint men kortvarig skum, lite aroma. Frisk, lett syrlig smak med slank kropp. Velegnet til å skape en god stemning en regnfull søndag formiddag i bryggeriet. Martinus (4737) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2013
Very slightly hazy copper colour, firm white head. Aroma of malts, candy, light caramel, honey and tea. Quite pronounced ice tea. Some iron. Malty flavour, sweet, caramel, quite sweet, some yeast. Sweet finish, but somehow also dry, chalk-like. Quite malty.

25cl bottles Geers - Pours a style-defying malty amber, nose of dust and caramel. Tastes like a chalky spéciale belge with very subdued, almost malt-buried hop bitterness, carmalty and less dry and bitter than any saison I have tasted so far. Light-medium mf makes this easily sessionable. Reminded me of old-recipe Palm 15yrs ago, rather disappointing for a brewery claiming to revive a "1858 brewing tradition". 25cl bottles pointing toward Du Bocq lauching this for sessioning in (Wallonian) cafés?

Pours a amber orange beer with a nice white head. It smells sweet, fruity. The taste is quite good. Little bitter and sweet. The carbo is a bit to lively. Thin and sticky texture. Leighton (22816) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at Dranken Geers. A slow gusher, folks. Pours clear, copper-gold, highly effervescent, with a large, frothy white head that fades quickly. Lightly toasted, bready malts in the nose, hints of fruits and toasty sugars. Light sweet flavor, some sharp, bready malts, very light tangy fruits, mellow yeast notes, semi-dark sugars, hints of berry fruits. Light bodied with high, mouth-filling carbonation. Crisp, zippy finish, simple and lightly toasted, dry bready malts, lightly yeasty, some sweet and undercooked bread, light ripened fruit sugars. Fair. Bottle at home. Clear amber pour, thin creamy white head. Aroma is earthy, slightly sweet, some spicy malts and a hint of brett. Flavor is quite bitter, some spicy malts, and some cardboard. Quite refreshing, but a bit dull. Dommod2011 (728) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2013
Smells like it might be interesting but it doesn’t quite deliver. If you wanted a session saison though, this would suit. Dense head? Certainly got one of those today. I need to see the sea, missing it today for some bizarre reason. laiti (8531) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2013
33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Beersel. Rated on 17.07.2010
Aroma has soapy citrus, yeasty notes and hints of herbs. Flavour has is somewhat yeasty with citrus, some banana esthers and wheaty notes. This lacks the ’thing’ I look after in saison. Too thin also.
