nice amber coloured beer, in a beatiful glass, with an easy going start and a very dry finish. A slightly wooden taste(like tannine or theine)
Sell very good in my pub JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2004
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Copper coloured with a just off-white, large foamy head. Aroma is a fruity ester blast, can’t really detect anything else beneath it. Hmmm, nice taste, citrus, hops and spices. Astringent, definite front of tongue dryness. Nicely bitter and I would agree with the commercial description about its thirst-quechiness. Best Saison I’ve tried to date. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 5, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2008 Nice amber color with a nice head. The nose is spice. In the flavour are some citrus, some hop, but not to mutch, and a good balanced spicy taste. Very good, characteristic seasonal. I don’t know what Iep has tasted dhurtubise (568) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2003
Amber, cloudy, thin white head, low carbonation. Some hops in the nose and sweetness and spicy notes. Bitterness is high, still some liight sweetness comes through, so it's not super dry as some other wonderful saisons. High sourness complements the bitteness well and some flowery hops notes are evident. Refreshing without being small. BartC (727) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - AUG 3, 2007
Hazy dark orange beer. Creamy off-white head. Good carbonation. A complex aroma dominated by oranges but also so fresh herbs like mint. Refreshing taste and also here fruits (critus and notes of dark fruits), but now combined with a mild hop bitterness.
Minor: I have a lot of deposits in my glass. Looking to the structure, my guess is they are hop left-overs from dry-hopping??????

Small head, but a fabolulous beer with honey and ambered colour. Very harmonious beer. Grzesiek79 (4297) - Radom, POLAND - JAN 25, 2012

A good version of Saison, earthy, peppery, spicy, orange flavor, sweet, yet finishes dry. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2004
Bottle from the Beer Tempel, Brussels. Slight honey wheat aroma. Golden hued Saison, with a slim head. Dry hint of malt, with a balancing sweet wheat. Very friendly and enjoyable beer, with a hint of richness. I’m not totally decided on how quality this is, but I did like it. Loses out a tad, through being less smooth than previous Saisons I’ve tried. bboeckl (142) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle. Clear copper/amber. Cream-colored thickish head. Great floral/fruit aroma. Some must in the nose as well. Taste was also of floral/fruit but balanced with a dusty bitterness. Refreshingly light body. Great saison. I would buy again. If only I were able to get back to Belgium some day!
