Hard Rock on kange kraam karmidele meestele.

Sweet aroma, slides down the throat easily, first beer I had in Tallinn, not the best, but better than others

Senka (1093) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 27, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2014 From the archives: When You are young, and need to get hammered on a black metal concert - this is what you used to get. Some vodka and some fortified pale lager. I remember it being rather unpleasant drink. Previously to this one, Saku used to to produce Saku 7.5 - that had body and aroma, and surprisingly 7.5% was well hidden.

Marduk (8381) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 2, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2017 500ml bottle (Rüütli pood, Tallinn). Straight from bottle. Alcohol, sweet, caramel in aroma. Alcohol, sweet, malts and buttery in taste. Soft carbonation. Harsh to drink.

liinis (1791) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2008
has more character and kick than saku originaal. Huge white head very fruity and sweet. actually quite good.

Tranquillity (2507) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2006
Can 500ml. Actually not a bad beer of all in spite of the hefty can design and voltage. A bit darker than standard Saku and pours with a huge head. Very flowery, fruity aromas which cling on in the taste. Strong taste of alcohol.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 22, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden, not much head. Loads of impurities in this. Pronounced - if not excatly sickening - sweetness. And in spite of the high alcohol this isn’t that hard to drink as with most malt liquors. Apparently a beer aimed at the young discoteque-going Estonians complete with it’s own web-site: http://www.rock.ee/ 201102

Extremely fruity, smells strongly of alcohol and slightly overripe pears. Sweet-sickly feeling rise in the stomach at about this point. They must have added tons of sugar to this one, if I didn’t have diabetes before, I have it now.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAR 19, 2005
Bottled. Golden coloured, small white bubbly head, which disappears quickly. Sweet apple aroma with hints of alcohol. Sweet apples and alcohol in taste. No aftertaste and makes mouth sticky. Good beer if you want to get drunk fast.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 29, 2004
Dirty dark golden with a large white head. Sugary and alcoholic aroma. Sweet, metallic and alcoholic flavour with notes of candied fruit. Lot's of booze in finish.

TBone (18217) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 17, 2004
Bottled (BB 07/2004)
Amber color, foamy white head. Sweet metallic apple aroma. Sweet alcoholic mouthfeel, apples also in taste. Short alcoholic finish, warming.
