Saku’s oldest beer.
Saku Hele is a light special brew with a strong taste of hops and a pleasant aroma, which has been developed together with Czech master brewers. Saku Hele is brewed according to one of Saku’s oldest recipes in honour of Valerian Baggo, the lord of Saku Manor, who established a truly industrial brewery from the manor’s small brewery.

50cl bottle at Depeche Mode Baar, Tallinn. Pours golden with a white head. Lightly fruity and malty aroma, reminds me a bit of wheat beer. More fruity and more body than expected. Some bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink and quite well balanced. (2012-11-17)

Kauge (2118) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle (BB 13.11.2017) at Hiiu pubi. Pale gold, big fluffy head. Sweetish, grainy and grassy character. Flat, light, bland. Dry, grainy and mild bitter finish. Even after a 20 km bike ride it’s not very good...

Skinnyviking (9711) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 5, 2017
50 cl. bottle. Low fluffy white lasting head. Clear yellow golden body. Very sweeet perfumed flowery aroma. Highly carbonated straw grass flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness leading to a long dry and bitter finish. Better than expected.

phfyysik (1425) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JAN 30, 2017
Pours golden with medium white head. Aroma is malts, dust, cardboard, some grain. Taste is malty, cardboard, some sourness, light vegetables, light bitterness. Quite high carbonisation. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Ascelja (1729) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 30, 2016
Bottle 0.5l. Clear pale body, medium white head. Aroma is neutral malty. Tadte is slightly and strange bitter, almost neutral. Malts, almonds, spices, something odd. Light body, medium carbonation.
Cooperation with Czech brewers doesn’t meant Czech pilsener, it’s usuall pale lager. But acceptable.

Rotin (1732) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 30, 2016

Aroma: bread, light, waterish. Appearance: pale, clear, white foam, frothy, small quantity and vanished fast. Taste: lightly sour, medium bitterness. Nice bread taste appears after a while. Palate: medium body, thin feel, fizzy, lively, bitter afterstaste stays for a while.

Calisky (3057) - ALSACE, FRANCE - AUG 22, 2015
Couleur dorée, très légère mousse. Nez leger céréales douces, note savoneuse. Gout léger de céréales avec légères douces, paille, poussière de houblon. Légère amertume en fin de bouche. Minimale... Apres tout ce n’est qu’une helles...
