COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku Kuld – a modern classic, the absolute elite of Estonian beers, a combination of Saku’s hundreds-of-years-old brewing traditions, and the newest technology. With a rich taste, foam, and aroma, a delicate balance of freshness and mildness characterizes the taste of Saku Kuld. The freshness comes from Nordic oat malt and velvety smoothness is added to the refined bouquet by Hallertau hops. In addition, Saku Kuld is characterized by a clear colour and thick firm foam. Saku Kuld is sold in unique bottles with a relief of the Saku arms.

Bottle, bought @ Netto. Pours pale golden. Small, creamy, white, film head. Aroma has coocked cauliflower, sweet sugar, citrus. Medium carbonation, thin and watery. Flavour has cauliflower, lemon, metal, maize. Not good at all.

brnandersen (3867) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2012
50 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a small, fast fading white head. Typical pale lager aroma with hay, grasses, slight earthy and weak pepper notes. Taste is light bitter. Light to medium body with a thinnish texture. Short finish with a little bit of bitterness, some cooked vegetables. A standard European lager.

Delirium (668) - Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2012
A yellow lager, fitting the genre as you might expect. On the malty side, somewhat sweet, bit of a corn. Fairly crisp. Not bad for a pale lager, but hardly distinguishable either.

2.4
Kronebryg (1124) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2012
heavy carb. light head, golden. light nose with little flavour. Sof and almost flabby, a little sweetness.

BlackHaddock (7232) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2012
Brown, interesting bottle, holding 50cl of beer. This was one of a host of lagers I had during a blind tasting evening (November 2008). Pale yellow, golden colour, bright and clean looking, the pure white head fell away to leave just a wisp very quickly. Very little aroma, gets my standard 3 score for a non smelling lager/pilsner. Tasteless and bland, not impressed at all. Watery and boring, metalic and nasty feel to it. Not a beer I’ll be braking my neck to find again.

3.7
Grzesiek79 (4274) - Radom, POLAND - MAY 12, 2012
cooked vegetables, skunky, basement aromas, grass, golden, hazy, minimal head, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, heavily sour, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter,

dogbomb (1215) - ENGLAND - APR 29, 2012
Bottle. Pale straw coloured beer with a white froth. Hay/Grass nose with slight oaty malts. Mouth is very light and fresh with grassy hops and a hint of tomato. Finish is light and oaty with a little lemony hint. I’ve had worse.
