Fruity porter with agreat head, nice body & a rich palate. Usually folks buy it, store it for a year or more then drink it. it is a "winetr" brew found usually after mid-November. Grzesiek79 (4294) - Radom, POLAND - JUL 10, 2012
REWELACJA. Bardzo dobry bałtycki porter. Nie za mocny ale dość rozgrzewający w przełyku. intensywny aromat słodu karmelowego współgra ze smakiem. piana mocna i tworzy się dość szybko i jest trwała. Ciemne piwo z miedzianymi refleksami hammenlind (737) - Sundbyberg, SWEDEN - JAN 3, 2006
Almost black, slight reddish colour. Thick tan head. Sugary, acidic aroma with hints of resin, chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Flavour is soy sauce, tar and tobacco. Long malty aftertaste. Some notes of liquorice is present in finish. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 19, 2007

500ml bottle @ the 9th Shrewsbury Bottle Share Oct 14, courtesy of myself. Pours a dark ruby with creamy off white head. Beautiful milky chocolate porter with smooth liquorice and molasses. Very nice. KarlPopper (120) - Krakow, POLAND - JUN 19, 2016
Although the beer was cold at first it still gave a very good aroma of burnt malts: sweet coffee or strong malt coffee, cocoa, slight hint of prune in chocolate. The aroma maybe could be stronger but as for the beer with a lower blg than many other baltic porter’s (judging from quiet low abv - 6.9) it is great. The head is great looking, beige and lasting, wonderfully sticks to the glass. The beer is very drinkable, sweetness gives an impression of slightly thicker body that it is in fact and the bitterness from burnt malts and some hops balances this sweetness. The aftertaste of the cocoa, sweet coffee or intensive malt coffee intensifies the impression of a hick body. It is a great feeling to drink such a porter and it is extremely drinkable. My first Baltic Porter. Bottle @ Doug’s, Christmas 2004. Dark brown/orange pour. Very strong woody notes. Full bodied mouthfeel. I didn’t get a lot of alcohol in the taste, just lots of straightforward sweetness. Very good. bpreo (2836) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUN 20, 2011
