500ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn)Marduk (7695) - Reval, ESTONIA - NOV 16, 2012
Initially a sweet, slightly plasticky, aroma, some plummy or figgy dark sweet fruitiness. Later a bit chocolatey too I guess. Nice dark body and a tight tan head. Body is a little slick, but has crisp carbonation. Alas, those two things don’t cancel each other out, so it is doubly annoying. The taste is odd, plasticky, and sweet. Some strange orangey aspect to it, and again weird dark mediciney fruits, including horribly fake cherry medicine. Finish is sweet, some muted hops, some odd chocolate orange. Sub-par baltic porter. Almost every new brew they do is worse than the previous one.
500ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black color. Tiny beige head, dissapears quickly. Sweet, dusty dark chocolate dominates the aroma. Chocolate, sweet, somewhat milky, mellow flavor. I like that milky sidetaste. Unfortunately it comes out only when beer is totally warmed up. Quite drinkable in slow pace. visionthing (5363) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 7, 2013
50cl bottle (2012) from Stockmann, Tallinn last year. Pours dark mahogany with a beige head. Strong aroma of chocolate, seems slightly artificial, but not too far over the top. Malty and chocolaty, some roasty notes, hints of licorice and dark fruits. Sweet with a dominating chocolate flavour and a mild bitterness. Medium body with a fairly average carbonation. A bit too much chocolate for my taste, but still quite nice. Arve_Christian (5146) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2013
Sample from Visionthing-thanks a lot. Intense choclate aromas, malt. Medium body & complexity . On the sweet side.

Festive White Chocolate Porter, 50cl bottle from the Estonian gluhwein stand in the Lunenburg Weihnachsmarkt... Pours a dark black-brown with a fast-settling beige head and aromas of chocolate, toffee and maybe just a little nutmeg or cinnamon. Initially chocolate and little coffee on the palate, then burnt caramel and roast malt coming in, along with a treacle-toffeeish sweetness more reminiscent of a Doppelbock. The finish is more dry-sweet, as the burnt edge of the treacle is boosted by a light hoppy bitterness.

Dark brown, tan head with filmy retention. Nose is some toasty malt with strong notes of very sweet dusty milk chocolate. Taste begins with sweetness, some watery notes, and finishes with medium bitter roastiness, some malt and cloying sweetness with more dusty milk chocolate. Oily mouthfeel, medium body, flat carbonation. Overall - not bad, but a bit odd. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 26, 2012

Deep ruby colored one with a small creamy off white-tan head. Aroma of molasses, malt and caramel, light herbal hops. Medium bodied porter with caramel and molasses again, light roasted character, some metallic taste, lurking herbal hops in the finish. Roasted bittersweet finish.
Bottled, 0.50l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Clear dark brown color with medium creamy brownish head and tiny lively bubbles. Aroma of grassy hops, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, mild coffee and hints of medicines. Taste starts with sweet caramel and chocolate, molasses and liquorice, then followed by slight sour grassy and fruity undertones. Mouthfeel is a bit spicy, while aftertaste is pleasant moderate bitter. Full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Excellent farewell to winter... thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 1, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown body with a medium tan head. Aroma has roasty malts and some sweet milk chocolate. Taste mainly has that familiar sweet dark licorice that is found in other variations of Saku Porter. Next to it some additional sweetness emerges that indeed might resemble white chocolate. Gets cloying before the bottle is finished. This might go well with gingerbread and chocolate but I would not pair it with sauerkraut and black pudding (like I’m used to doing with the regular Saku Porter). estpiwo (1319) - ESTONIA - NOV 19, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown color, creamy head. Milk chocolate tones in taste, oily, sweet, little bit roasted malts. Finish was light bitter and smoky. Good.
