Gravity Cask Half Pint at Battersea Beer Festival, London in Feb 2010 - Very Dark Brown, almost Black, in colour. Malty; roasty malts, coffee, chocolate. Hoppy; bitter hop edge. Fruity; berries? Full flavoured for ABV. Rich roast malty throughout with sour/bitter fruit/hop edge. Dry finish. Nice! (2010-02)

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2010) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, cocoa and dark chocolate. Rather light body, dry, with a generous coffee bitterness. Possibly a bit thin, but nice and well made stout.
