Cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 10th Feb 2010. Near black. Little bit of tan head. Musty, stale coffee nose with a bit of hops. Dry at the start and maybe actually lacking a malty punch. I liked it though and would definitely drink it again. renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2010
BBF 2010 darkest brown colour. Stale ground coffee nose. It’s too cold. Very hoppy. Oily stuff. Quite drinkable Christian (13932) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2009
Black with a lasting off-white head. Fruity and roasted aroma with chocolate. Dry and roasted flavour with some licorice. Lasting burnt finish. harrisoni (19559) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2009
Cask handpull from Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Black, thin tan head. Lots of roast on aroma, but lots of blackcurrant too. Really burnt malts the kind of intensity you’d associate with an impy stout. A little watery in the body, but the blackcurrant slightly sour finish over intense dark malts is very impressive fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2008

Deep brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and mildlicorice. Flavour is at first very much dark fruits, wood and then turns smoked/roasted malts and has some dark sour coffee in it.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Battersea Beer Festival.
Totally balck and opaque with a thin bubbly head. Coffee, dark malt and lovely rich and bitter dark chocolate. Nice but it’s just not quite tarry and oily enough and the mouthfeel is a little on the thin side. Decent stuff but could be a lot better.
