[email protected] Deep brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and mildlicorice. Flavour is at first very much dark fruits, wood and then turns smoked/roasted malts and has some dark sour coffee in it.

Cask handpull from Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Black, thin tan head. Lots of roast on aroma, but lots of blackcurrant too. Really burnt malts the kind of intensity you’d associate with an impy stout. A little watery in the body, but the blackcurrant slightly sour finish over intense dark malts is very impressive

Cask at Market Porter, London. Not sure this is the right beer. My notes say Dennis Sinned Stout. Black beer, creamy beige head. Milky, malty chocolate aroma, cocoa notes. Soot flavor, cocoa, tar, licorice, chocolate notes.
