Christos (5885) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 16, 2013
Bottle at home, 300 ml. Into a snifter. ABV 7% Pours a nice red brown colour on the body, with almost two fingers of light beige head. Low retention, it does leave though a thin film on the surface and light lacing on the glass. Aroma is of stewed fruits, glue, nail paint. Taste is fruity, sweet, at least at first. On the finish it gets some roasted malts, light chocolate, caramel and turns to a nice bitterness with good long duration. Very dry palate, average carbonation, medium thin body. Pretty good actually, I was expecting much less but it proved me wrong, always happy when that happens.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy copper colour, lively head. Caramelly nose with plenty of dates. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dates and prunes, dusty caramel. Richly malty with notes of honey. Low bitterness. Nice!

Quack-Duck (9489) - Down South, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2010
bottle from Bierkoning - Danke! Hazy brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Caramel, walnuts, marzipane - with a surprising hoppy punch in the finish. Very nice.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Chestnut colour with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar and a hint of dried fruit. Sweet caramel flavour with dried fruit and a decent hoppy finish

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is rather sweet ripe fruits, mild alcohol and sweet malts. Flavour is raisins, mild spruce, some spices and sweet malts. Quite nice flavour, but the aroma was way too sweet.

750ml Flasche.

bierkoning (13615) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 13, 2010
Bottle. Brown color, paler as most Dutch bocks. Soft maltaroma with vegetable notes. Malty dryish roasty flavor. Medium bodied. Some earthy notes. Quite likeable bock, more German than Dutch.

3.2
goozen (4122) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 26, 2010
Bottle 0,33ltr: An Dutch commisioned brew in Germany, so the beer taste more like an German Doppelbock. Dark clear brown brew with an bitter taste, like the German way and the Dutch way thats sweeter.
