Saeglopur (2007) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - APR 10, 2017
Draught at the brewpub.
Dark yellow, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, off-white head.
Quite light aroma of grains, bread, grass, honey.
Tastes quite similar, with some more grassy and hoppy notes.
Medium to light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes soft, moderate sweet, grainy, a bit floral, a bit bready.

Good. Fresh and clean, while a bit light overall. Still a solid enough Helles, nice thirst quencher.

Pours a hazy gold colour with a lasting white, well laced head. Aroma of malt and bread with grassy notes. Medium body, lightly carbonated with a pleasant reasonably well balanced taste of light malt. Mildly bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Not bad, quaffable but tastes a bit boring. Ok I had this after the Pils, which is extremely tasty here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

KyotoLefty (9982) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 18, 2015
Tap at the brewpub. Deep orange-golden color, very cloudy. Malty nose, diacetyl, bit of orange. Too much diacetyl, and not enough hops to cover it, biscuits, sweet, creamy, also a bit of tart orange. Not terrible, but doesn’t work with all that diacetyl.

Served hazy golden color, topped with a nice white head. Little malts in the nose, some bready notes as well. Taste is sweet, fruity with mild breadiness and very moderate bitterness. Decent and refreshing.

Quack-Duck (9369) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 2, 2014
tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head leaving lacework. Intensive, lovely aromatic floral hop aroma. Light and elegant malty base with lots of aromatic hops with hints of hay, freshly-mown lawn, herbs and a floral touch. Smooth and velvety palate, a touch fo yeast is present. Perfectly balanced. I could drink this all night. Surprising, how tasty a simple Helles can be - this is pure delight.
