3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the McCall pub while enjoying a beautiful Friday afternoon on the lake.. Pours a hazed orange... short lived white head.. Nose shows pretty sharp ginger along with just enough pale malty sweetness to compliment the spiciness.... the flavor is a little better with a fruity and a bit tannic note that definitely reminds me of the standard fleshy black plums you see at the grocery store or fruit stand... Surprisingly drinkable for one glass, but I was starting to get tired of it quickly.

Tap @ Breforia: These fruit beers are hard to get right and I donít think Salmon Brewing pulled it off. Kind of a bad version of fruit beer mixed with a saison is what you can expect for flavor. Aroma is pretty mellow. I guess you can sense some of the ginger but no plum and it really isnít easy to drink.
