A draft pour at the Salmon River Brewpub in McCall while I was taking a break from setting up tents at the Winter Carnival for the Beer Garden. This poured an orange amber color with an off-white head. Nose is caramel malts with some spices...I get nutmeg and cinnamon. Medium body. The flavor here shows the pumpkin and while the spices are here as well. Most important everything here is in good balance. This is very tasty and an excellent autumn seasonal.

Slightly hazy light orange with an okay head... I dig the gourd flavor in this one... It actually does have a distinct pumpkin flavor that does not go crazy heavy into the pie spices like many examples... I get a little bit of nutmeg, cinnamon and perhaps ginger.. no spices are overblown though thankfully. Pretty dry across the board... Spiced beers are never my idea of fun, but this one uses a judicious hand and the overall dry finish gives the spices a subtle nature, a thick sweet beer would accentuate the sweet spices... Better than I was expecting.

On Tap at the 2015 Hoptober Freshtival, Boise ID Hazy orange. Fleeting almost non existent head or lacing. Light mild gourd flavors and aromas. Missing most of the classic pumpkin pie flavors. Light and dry and subtle.

On tap at Northern Lights Cinema in Nampa. Poured a reddish brown with a light brown head. Malty combined with spices up front that finished a bit spicy and bitter. Not sure if I like this guy, but I am willing to try again.

Dear God, this beer is awful. Tried it on draft at Bier-Thirty in Boise ID. The pumpkin pie spice notes are over the top. Way too much nutmeg or something similar. I like a lot of SRB brews, but this one should never have left the brewery.
