Draft at the brewpub. This is a bright orange beer with a funky "homebrewy" aroma. The hoppy assertiveness is quite stark, not at all "English" as the menu suggests IMHO. It’s a nice bitter beer, enough to make you pucker a bit. (#4673, 7/6/2012) SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - JAN 28, 2011
Enjoyed at the SLC Holiday Tasting. Pours a hazy amber color with a foamy head. Aroma of caramel, pine and citrus. Flavor is much the same. A pretty straightforward, but good IPA. Sledutah (7526) - Utah, USA - DEC 13, 2010

Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with a medium white head and good lacing
Aroma: Floral and fresh Pine tree
Taste: Floral and pine needles
on tap-pours a disappearing off white head and cloudy gold color. Aroma is mild musty medium malt. Herbal. Taste is grapefruit/resin/herbal hops bite, medium malt-some caramel. Dry/somewhat biting finish. douglas88 (9176) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2009
On tap at the brewpub in beautiful McCall Idaho. Pours a a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. The aroma and flavor is a mix of citrus hops and richer caramel malts. Toasted flavors a bit too. Mild and decent. I liked it more than the DIPA.

Growler pours out a hazy copper topped with a sand head. Aroma was nice plenty of floral hops and nice malts. Tast more of the floral hops nice and easy to go down. I like it. Thanks Wade and Jordan for sending the love. hayduke (5203) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 20, 2009
On draft, this poured a cloudy orange-amber wtih a small white head but not much lacing; Nose is floral hops. Mouthfeel medium and very smooth. Flavor is floral and frutiy hops wtth a long bitter finish. Fairly mild IPA by west coast standards but well crafted and easy drinking. pinkzambia (1931) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 17, 2009
Growler compliments of Wade: I guess this was different than when Jake65 tasted it at the brewery. It looks as though they are still landing on a recipe. As far as hops, this definitely leans toward the flowery side in the aroma as well as taste. There is a slight bitter aftertaste. I would prefer a little more bitterness in the flavor and aftertaste. I am glad to see another brewery in McCall. jake65 (3689) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - MAR 8, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2009 Tap at the brewery: Light haze in a deep copper pour with a sandy head. Good lacing in the sample size glass. Aroma is more floral than anything, but not huge in intensity. Tastes very floral, dry, and bitter. Dry hopped, and lots of it. Lacking any sweet citrus or malty elements. Overtly bitter and needing refinement.
Updated 3/14/09 on new batch: A change in yeast yields a softer, fruiter, and sweeter feel along with a nice citrus hopping. Much more balanced and cohesive. Lightly bitter tail.
