Very hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish and airy with fine carbonation. Creamy malt with notably sweet lactose. Floral hops and peachy tropical fruits and subtle grape. Semi dry finish with a mild bitter linger. Not bad, but too much sweet malt to be very good.
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the very impressive Cotteridge Wines. Pours mostly clear, bright and deep gold with a large, frothy white head. Dry tangerine in the nose, some light pine, orange. Light to medium sweet flavor with tangy citrus fruits, ripe melon, a bit of sweet pale bread, decent bitter pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous and piney to finish, further tangy tangerine notes, touches of doughy bread, good balancing sweetness. A really nice effort from Salopian.

On tap at Tap East. Hazy gold colour lasting thin white head. tropical hop aroma. Bit over carbonated. Some sweet mango and passion fruit. Lots of tropical fruit but also a bit too sweet and the over carbonation is too harsh and prickly. OK. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 13, 2013
Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy golden/apricot beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Lovely fruity hop aroma, pine apples, passion fruit, grapes, floral notes, caramel, citrus, clementines, fresh hops. Hoppy pine apple flavor, passion fruit, mango, fruit cocktail, grassy notes, lovely hoppy fruitiness. Very full bodied to be a cask. Caramel finish with pine apples, mango, clementines, floral notes and some grape fruit. Wonderful! FatPhil (16635) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 16, 2015

Lovely fruity hop aroma - light. Alas a touch of sourness creeps in. Rich orange, beautiful spongy head. Taste is messy. Hops are aggressive, and there’s no balance. Messy. Salopian are one of my favourite real ale brewers, I normally expect sane use of hops, but they’ve just lost it in this one. This is below them.
Bottle [from Euro Santa 2015] @ home. Hazy orange color, some yeast residu floating in there, medium to full sized quite long lasting dense almost creamy off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some hops, orangepeel, fruitpeel bitter. Reminds me of brett in a way I don’t like it. Medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Hmm not my kind of IPA or my kind of hops perhaps. Too much orangepeel flavors and aroma. Scopey (15263) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2014
Bottle from Wine Cellar, Sanderstead. It pours cloudy golden-amber with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, peachy, tangerine, mango, passion fruit, creamy, faint spice and marmalade. The taste is bitter-sweet, orange, tangerine, grapefruit zest, passion fruit, earthy, light alcohol and resin, with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Very nice orange citrus. Pretty impressive stuff from Salopian.
