COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Occasional. Originally a special in July 2009 (Part of the "World Series" range of monthly beers). Reappeared in January 2010.
A beer that speaks easy of hops and more hops, citrus, pine and grapefruit flavours descend into an untouchable finish.

Handpull cask at the Criterion, Leicester. Golden and clear as a bell. Small head with lots of natural carbonation. Strange aroma: almost herby notes with muted citrus notes. Tastes quite good: bittersweet, fruity and balanced but it’s a touch phenolic in the aftertaste in my opinion. Not overly excited by this one. Shame as so many of Salopian’s beers are good.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is sweet tangy canned pineapple, pear, tropical fruits, nectarine.. Flavour is composed of sweet sticky tropical fruits, lychee, nectarine, tangerine. Honey malts.. Mellow grassy citrus in the finish.. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, great cask condition. Fantastic beer.

Cask at BeerDock Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, a little grass, pine, a hint of peach, subtle pale malts, caramel and some floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some peach, slight pine, a little caramel and subtle subtle hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A fresh, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A flavourful cask beer with fresh hops and some citrus and fruit. Very enjoyable.

imdownthepub (15132) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2010
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Yellow gold with white head. Salopian are getting much better at this sort of Golden Ale, light, fresh, hoppy. It helped that this is a better Spoons on the keeping of R.A front. The hops are citrusy without being overwhelming. A decent beer.
