Tap at Craft Beer Clerkenwell. Awesome deep roast malt tones. Thick, steady, rusty beige head. Delicious. World Class. Sweet and chewy. AshtonMcCobb (7029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 18, 2017
On keg at the Hanging Bat.
Appearance - opaque black. Slightly off white head.
Nose - roast, chocolate and coffee.
Taste - plenty of coffee. Dry roast coffee beans. Burnt bread.
Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry crunchy middle section which continues through the finish.
Overall - very dry. In fact, dry stout style really. Is there coffee in this? Stuu666 (15248) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 13, 2017

Cask @ Mr Foley’s, Leeds. Very dark, understated with its roasted malts, but has a nice palatable texture. Vladivostok (491) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2017
Nice creamy stout with just enough sweetness to balance out the roast malts. Not sure why but I haven’t drunk many stouts recently. This one was good enough to make me have a re-think.

Cask handpull at CBC Clerkenwell as Salopian Requiem. Black opaque, foamy light town head. Aroma is light mango, cheesy hops. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is ashy, chocolate, some floral lime hops, light paprika, earthy. Lovely balance. Great stout. Leighton (22821) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2017
Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours brown with a bubbly, beige head. The nose holds ashy roast, burnt toast. Light sweet flavour with more ash, bitter cocoa, earth, salty charred meat. Light-medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with woody dryness, lots of bitter char, bitter cocoa, burnt grass. Not bad. minutemat (6252) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2017

Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki)
Lovely rich malty aroma, a touch porridgy and mashy, slight perfuminess, and some breakfast cereals. Looks great - dark red and a persistent loose tane head. Taste is WOW! This is a lovely well-aged porter, except that it’s also got the great roast and bitterness that justifies the "stout" moniker. Finish continues the burnt aspects, but the late finish has a huge dry earthy butteriness. So wonderfully full in the mouth. And the finish, with its dryness lasts a long time, almost acrid it’s so biting after a whole pint. Finish is looooooooong.
