UPDATED: MAR 3, 2016 Cask at The Little Vic, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear golden colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of orange, slight custard, a little caramel, subtle biscuit and floral hops. Taste of orange, slight grapefruit, some caramel, a little biscuit and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Cask in the Elephant and Castle W8. They changed the barrels midway through our session and ended up drinking the heavy stuff first and this last, not quite ideal! Pale golden colour, thin head. A pleasant enough bitter, some fruity hop, a slightly grainy body.
