Terrible beer, dry, straw flavoured. Typical looking pale ale, but with all the flavour removed
Hand-pulled pint on 2nd Nov 2017, inside Albert's Shed. Gold body, white crown. Hoppy and woody in nature, fairly dry and fairly bitter: decent. Not sure if this is a re-badged Salopian beer or in fact a new one.GuideDogSaint (1752) - Xiamen, CHINA - AUG 5, 2017

Aug 2011: This beer is brewed some 12 miles up the road from my place: pleased to see it came 3rd overall in the CAMRA 2011 Beers of the Year Comp 2 weeks ago.
This review is of a hand pulled cask pint, poured into a UK pint sleeve glass at the excellent ’White Hart’ in Shifnal.
Light golden copper body with a good firm head of white foam sat on top. The lacing left on the glass telling me it was in good condition.
The smell was of floral hops with an undercurrent of caramel malt sweetness becoming stronger as the beer warm in the glass.
The taste was a good, hop front and finish, with the maltines from the aromas being evident too. This is a well balanced beer and very easy to drink.
I’ve been to the brewery (in an old creamary) and they are lovely people who produce this brew: 50% of turnover is now Shropshire Gold, so it must be selling.
Cask half at the Coronation Hall, Surbiton. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, some hops. Mostly bitter finish. BeerViking (5046) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2017
Cask at the Lamb Chiswick, golden with a thin head, faint lemon and sage on the nose, moderately bitter, malty sweet body with a distant nuttiness, more bitter citrus in the finish. A pleasing golden ale. BenOver (329) - SLOVENIA - MAY 10, 2017
Pours dark golde, with minimum, quickly diminishing top white coloured. Strong acrid aroma, diacetyl. Upon settling, yeasty aroma and malts, some hops present as well. Taste is slightly slur at first then very sour. Overwhealms the whole tasting place. Bitterness is not pronounced. Should/could be very much better. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2017
