500ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma: citrus fruits, orange peel, malts. Taste: citrus fruits and pithy orange peel dominate, sweet malt, sugars, slight herbal/floral note, bitter finish. Medium body, very smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

Cask conditioned at The Masons Arms, Headington, Oxford. Gold to amber with white head. There is a full on fruitiness to this, bitterish, drying with tropical fruit, mango, pineapple and melon hints. There is a background earthiness. Good beer.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Golden with a head. Hoppy, it has a mild strength about it with hints of caramel in its taste. Has a very sugary-malty nose.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2017 Salopian deep golden colour poured directly from the barrel at Ulverston beer fest 17 was my pick as beer of the festival. Full flavoured, hoppy IPA with lingering dry finish.

downender (9054) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2017
Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 15/8/2017. Deep gold in colour with a decently-sized, off-white, head. Floral hops, some citrus fruits, a touch of marmalade sweetness, biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Very good.

Handpull cask at the Criterion, Leicester. Dark golden, clear with a ring off off-white head. Fantastic resiny smell with pine, mango, soft citrus peel. Extremely bitter and slightly medicinal quality to the taste continuing the long bitter finish. More resin and tropical fruit along with some vegetal notes in the aftertaste. It might be me and not the beer but it feels a bit messy which brings the score down.

Pint at the Cluny Newcastle. Two of my favourite breweries. Orangey body dense white head. Tropical fruit, green hop aroma. Big juicy fruit flavour with some Darjeeling tea and biscuit. Astringent finish Great beer
