Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Clear, straw colour. Suds of white head. Nose has fusty lemon. Sweet and creamy malts. Something akin to pineapple cubes sweets. Taste is fruity sweet and pithy, citrusy bitter. Plenty of body for the ABV. Long, oily, pithy bitter finish. Punchy stuff. ManVsBeer (10946) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2017

Cask handpull at Pig’s Ear, Richmond, as ’Salopian Vortex’, 4.0%. Amber orange, still, translucent, foamy tan head. Aroma is potent, almost cheesy, strong malts, tangerine. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is salted bread stick, citrus, peachy sweetness but not too sweet, musty bitterness. Really good balance between malt sweetness, fruit and drying bitter vibes. minutemat (6044) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2015

13 Nov 2012: hand-pulled pint in ’The station’ Oakengates.
Light golden body with a healthy looking white crown on top.
Hops all the way here, the malt content hardly gets a look in: the nose is a fruit basket of aromas, semi-citrus with hints of sweetness coming through as well.
The taste is also hop fruitiness dominated with than citrusy feel to the smell coming stronger in the mouth as each sip finishes.
Body depth was OK for 4%ABV and I’d have had another if I wasn’t on a reveiwing mission. foxo82 (927) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2012
