beer fest 30/10/13
Smells like robinsons cordial, clear gold with white lacing, low carbonation, low body and lots of blackcurrant squash...no hop flavours...artificial
Cask at Brum Beer Fest; clear amber pour with thin white head, robinsons aroma, taste is blackberry, with a hint of doughy malts, but mostly blackberry all forced and artificial, mr_h (5535) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - AUG 28, 2013
Cask by handpump at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow - clear straw coloured, thin creamy off-white head, sweet berry fruit aroma, sporadic lacing, sweet, the blackberry flavour comes through nicely, well balanced, nice fruity finish

Cast at the Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace. Dark reddish-brown pour with a white head. Caramel, blackberry and raisin aroma. Malt laden flavour with a spot of licorice and light blackberry notes. Not bad. markas101 (2455) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Cask, Interval cafe, Sheffield, UK. Amber gold, bright resinous hop aroma with faint summer fruit background. Mild flavour, slightly watery, honey sweetness, then a slow sharp spice with very subtle berry flavour.

Gravity @ the kings head Leicester. Dark golden beer. Disappointingly un blackberry-y. Bitter taste but just OK.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 On cask at White Star, Stoke. Pours red brown, blackberry nose is there. Quite bitter and then the blackberry smooths it out. Decent.
Tried again 17/12/13 @ Congress, Longton. My opinion does not differ from my 1st try. daniele (9063) - ITALY - MAR 27, 2013

Cask at CP&K. It pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The nose is soft fruitiness, berry, raspberry ice-cream and fruit syrup. The taste is straw, bitter pine, light berry, Ribena, pepper and some citrus with a dry, bitter finish. Fruit is well-integrated and not over-done. Nice fruitiness, decent bitterness and easy drinking. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Cask @ CPK. The pour’s a medium gold color with a tight, creamy head. The aroma’s of soft blackberry jam sweetness. Light lemon peel. Floral countryside. The taste is bright floral hop. Light pale malts, hints of citrus. Just a touch of raspberry ripple and blackberry. Light body, fine carbonation. This is on great form. Overall, a really nice beer. Understated.
