Koelschtrinker (21514) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAR 21, 2013
Dunkel malziger und trockener Antrunk. Zwischenzeitlich angenehm hopfig, wenig bittet, war sich zum Ende noch leicht steigert. Zum Ende sticht der Hopfen hervor, würzig, trocken. 12/10/12/12//11

Cask at CPK, London. Meet the brewer event. It pours clean golden with a nice white head that lasts long. Aroma is hoppy and full of fruits. Some woody notes from the blackberries. Taste is mostly bitter and resiny but well balancved by a fruity sweetness. Hints of blackberries. Long bitter aftertaste. Burps are blueberry-like. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Good stuff.

dynamiteninja (1891) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Postern Gate (JDW), York. Golden bodu. Thin white head and excellent lacing. Blueberries, blackcurrant, strawberry, cherry, cascade hops. Bitter with sweet notes. Dry finish. A little gimicky, but still adds up to more than the sum of its parts.

[Cask at Chippenham BF] Murky pale amber. The brewer attempts to cover up a pretty average underlying bitter with raspberry leaves and late-arriving blackberries. It’s on the sweet side, a little cardboardy and pretty uninspiring. Not impressed. c5

Thanks to JohnRMurdoch for a half of this one, cask at The Three Judges. Copper coloured, fading white head. Aroma of berries mixed with wheat-like fruits. Blackberries, alright, joined by a fruity touch in flavour followed by a bittersweet support. Different and quite alright to drink (Glasgow, 12.04.2012).

UPDATED: APR 14, 2012 Cask @ The 3 Judges. Copper colour, reasonable head. Dry fruity malt aroma. Fruity berry flavour. Bitter aftertaste, well balanced.

Blackberry/ribena nose, ribena taste. Fruity, cardboard finish. Good but nothing special.

Gravity at Birmingham Beer Festival 2011. Thin. Fruity cardboard finish. Reasonable. Some hop maybe.

[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Slightly hazy golden beer with a decent white head. Slightly malty, fruity blackberry aroma – smells a touch like Ribena. Tastes a bit like Ribena too – nothing wrong with that, I guess – although I’ve heard how they make this. Still, that said, a decent and refreshing beer [14102011]

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of RIbena blackcurrant cordial, grassy hops and caramel. Similar flavours of blackberries, Ribena, caramel and alcohol. Mild carbonation with a mildly oily mouth-feel. Also a little bitter. Very nice.
