Cask at the Market Porter, London. Pours clear gold with a soft, white head. Malt, wheat, grain and blackberry comprise the aroma. Flavor is nice and sweet, lightly syrupy with noticable blackberry notes. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Has a sweet, fruity finish with very mild, earthy bitterness. Good beer. Nice fruit character that’s not over the top.

12/10/12/12//11

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Orange/gold with thin beige head. Dusty/blackberry aroma. Acidic blackberry in mouth, juicy sharp blackberry on finish. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Very tasty and I love the fruit.

Scopey (16225) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Cask at CP&K. It pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The nose is soft fruitiness, berry, raspberry ice-cream and fruit syrup. The taste is straw, bitter pine, light berry, Ribena, pepper and some citrus with a dry, bitter finish. Fruit is well-integrated and not over-done. Nice fruitiness, decent bitterness and easy drinking.

imdownthepub (15513) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2008
Cask conditioned at Merton Summer B.F ’08. Amber with white head. Ah yes, blackberry, most definitely, sweet, fruity, pulpy berry on a reasonably chunky malt body. I just cannot get fruit beers like this, so I’ll leave it to those who do.
