August 2017 - Bottle share at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindig. Thanks! As 'Saltaire Pride', 3.9%. Pale golden yellow, translucent with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is light with mixed buttery, soap and elderflower notes. Body is light with tingly carbonation. Taste is sodawater, light sawdust and dusty notes, thin malts. Found this a bit thin. Bottle share at Chriso’s, yellow-gold with a fine head, malty spicy nose, dry-bitter and malty peppery, nice example of a golden bitter.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 2. A clear golden beer with a small white ring. Aroma of toasted malt, mild citrusy hops, caramel. Taste of citrusy hops, grainy malt, toasted malt, boring!

Bottled: Very clear golden red appearance - light carbonation. Mild aroma - malt dominates. Bitter foretaste followed by mild sweetness. Reasonable balance. Perfectly acceptable session bitter - nothing exceptional but absolutely fit for purpose.

Svesse (8742) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 5, 2017
(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 19 April 2017) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of apricots, orange peel and a touch of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, orange peel, toast, marmalade and a generous citric/earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and well made bitter. Nice one.
