AshtonMcCobb (6685) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 8, 2017
On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Light haze. Nose - oranges and flowers. Some green notes. Taste - more orange, some biscuit and cereal. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - nice balance. Grew on me!

BeerNinjaUK (516) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2017
Bottle from Waitrose. Legacy rating. Pours straw coloured with thin whitish head. Some lacing. Aroma citrus and cereal. Thin body, somewhat fruity but lacking in bitterness or any particular oomph.

prawlie (1611) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden and gassy with a decent head. Dry, crisp, straw notes, a decent sessioner. Fair body for a relatively weak beer. Hint of citrus. I got on well with this.

deanso (10150) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - DEC 3, 2016
50cl bottle. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Light bitterness. Easy drinking.

3.3
MartinT (9932) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 21, 2016
My Bottom Line:
Subtle herbal hops are supported by mild hay and honey in this forgettable Golden Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam covers the dark golden clarity.
-The mouthfeel is crisp and geared towards drinkability.
-All flavors feel tired. An old bottle?
-Hops could be brighter in the aroma.

Bottle.

jjsint (3204) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2016
Handpull cask at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Light gold, gentle natural carbonation. A bit of small white head and barnacle-like foamy white lacing. Temperate floral aroma. Bittersweet taste, a hint of butter. Well done but a bit too understated.

3.4
BeerViking (4909) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2016
Bottle. Sweet and faintly tangy nose. Dry-sweet and crisp body. Reminiscent of an unusually citrusy Kölsch.

tdtm82 (1701) - Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2016
Bottle, Morrisons, 15/01/2016, drunk at home. Way middle of the road golden ale. Some iodine and grapefruit and lemons. Good head but lacking in hops. Ok bitterness. Average.

3.3
Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 4, 2015
bottle from Tesco Exmouth. Golden colour, white head. Malty start, crisp and clean, good aromatic and bitter hops. Bitter-sweet character.

spacecube (1732) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2015
500ml bottle, pours clear gold, small white head. Aroma is caramel and straw malts, wet cardboard, light lemony citrus, floral hop. Light bodied, thin texture, some malt sweetness and the finish is long and bitter, a bit messy. Carbonation is soft.
