1/2 Pint Cask @ Olde Mitre Tavern. Clear golden, white head. Nose is perfume, oil, soft apricot, sunflower seeds. Taste is nice caramel, toffee, apricot, low soap touch, bit watery. Dry finish, watery cask. Fair, pleasant to drink for sure.

rauchbier (3924) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Bottle, from Morrisons. Yellow gold, thin shortlived white head and moderate condition. Low fruity hops in the nose, with hints of melon and a slight coconut note. Quite thin and dry in the mouth with a sharp bitterness and a slight oiliness, finishing off with a dry hoppy bitterness that dominates.

GuideDogSaint (1718) - Xiamen, CHINA - JUL 18, 2017
Cask pint at the George, Croydon. Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of hops and tropical fruit. Bitter taste and finish. A little thin, not surprising given the abv, but good stuff.

omhper (25546) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 12, 2017
Bottled, from Folkölsbutiken, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, rich head. Aroma of elderflowers, grain and citrus. Dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Grainy and lightly buttery with some citrus. Resiny very bitter finish. Too resiny.

blueruin (156) - - MAY 8, 2017
Bottle from beerbods, opened and rested for 5 mins before drinking as recommended. Pours a large, lasting very foamy head, high apparent carbonation. Not much aroma, and not a great deal of taste either - inoffensive, more like a light bitter than a pale ale - not much of the promised frutiness coming through. Some soft bready malt and a soapy light bitter finish. It’s not awful, just a bit nothing-y, which is pretty bad in it’s own way.

MrTipple (5956) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Grain and cereal malts, grassy, floral hops. Clear gold, tiny, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter grass, floral hops, soft carbonation, light bodied. OK Golden Ale, nothing too spectacular. Cask at CBC Islington tasting - thanks to the unknown donor.

The_Osprey (8682) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
April 2017 - Cask handpull at CBC Islington. As Saltaire South Island Pale. Golden orange, still with a bubbly white head. Aroma is airy and light, some biscuity sugars and faint fruit vibes that could equally be coming from a piece of fruit across the room. Airy and nothingy. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is straw, thin biscuity malts, watery squash with a light astringency in the finish. Saltaire can do a lot better than this. (3.0)

Theydon_Bois (20452) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2017
Cask at CBC Islington, 26/04/17. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric peel, pale malts, lemon rind, straw, grains. Taste comprises lemon rind, tangerine, soft bread, toasted grains, orange peel, hint floral. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok golde.
