Bow Bar Edinburgh tap half pint, what was the point? A beer so inoffensive it was offensive. Nothing, it looks good, on looks alone it puts up a good fight, then dies a painful death with no taste, NOTHING. Ill say it again, NOTHING i will never drink this again.

Bottle from keelham near Skipton. I didnt get a lot on the nose, it poured a bronze colour. Tastes coppery, harsh for its low percentage. Disappointed.

Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of bread, malt and light caramel. Taste is bland, slightly metallic, yuk. Body is light and smooth with average carbonation.

Cask at the black lion Leighton Buzzard. Larger coloured pale ale. Not the anticipated tropal fruit aromas I expected from the Newzeland hops. In fact a very distinct lack of any discernible scent on the nose. A sharp bite initially greats your taste buds & lingers long after the beer has acquainted your stomach. Im struggling to find the postives with this beer, thou not unpleasant I wont be having a second..

(Cask at Craft Clerkenwell, London, 11 Apr 2014) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus, grass and grainy malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, biscuits, grass and a generous bitterness with a touch of resin in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Fresh and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Cask at the CAMRA York Beer and Cider Festival, 21.9.2013. Clear golden with white ring. Piss, sunflower seeds aroma, watery bitter taste, light body and unmemorable.

Keighley Beer Festival. Golden with a very small head. Has a fruity aroma but a dominant bitterness for its taste.

Cask, Rigbys Liverpool. Supped on lunchbreak from Jury service. Pallid gold looks with a thin white head. Muted nose that offered little. Some citrus and restrained hop in the flavour , but was hoping for more oomph from the new zealanders. Drinkable but largely underwhelming.

Cask at the Dean Swift SE1. Light golden colour with a decent white head. Easy drinking summery ale, hint of grapefruit in the finish, pleasant bitter smack. Hops arguably could do more. A decent example of style I guess, but wasnt dashing for more.
