Bottle at home. A deep, dark IPA in the British style that was verging on the double in terms of flavour and abv. Minimal head, but a lovely opaque colour. The flavour was rich, stewed fruit and a welcome bitterness from the hops. It was perfect alongside a lamb curry as it really stood up well to the spices. beer_head (45) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2017
Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth.
Pours dark amber with a frothy lasting head. Aroma of summer fruits, biscuit and malt. Bitter taste of hops citrus peel zest and pine in the aftertaste. Quite heavy on the palate. I’m afraid to say that this one just doesn’t do it for me. There’s not too much wrong with it, but I prefer some of Saltaire’s other offerings. Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Strongish deep golden pale ale with a head. Understated within its style, but decent nevertheless. tommann (3800) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2016

Bottle from Craft Bottle, Lincoln. Orange gold colour with a foamy white head. Tangerine, spice, citrus. Taste mid sweet. Gary (1999) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2015
500ml Bottle: This might be called "American stateside " but maybe the interpretation is to brew an IPA from a state with boring IPA ? . A state that prides itself on highly conservative booze and IBUS , lack of innovation and a strong fucken shortage of creativity with interesting hops ! This stuff is ok , but with a brash name like Stateside you expect more attitude . There’s tangerine , spice , citrus , all very sticky and cumbersome on the palate . The caramel malt emphasis rounds this up to give a character with more resemblance to an English ESB . JohnRMurdoch (4914) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 30, 2015
500ml bottle from Beer Ritz. Orange brown, good foamy head. Sour apple malt and hop aroma. Soapy bitter caramel malt flavour. Bitter oaty apple hop aftertaste. Not really an IPA. More a hoppy premium bitter. Mjp12 (1889) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2015
Pours a light copper, with a thick white foam. A malt and hop aroma, this is a clean tasting beer, more of a hopped up British style ipa , rather than a truly US one, but a decent supermarket beer.
