Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Orange-amber pour with no head. Fruity aroma, some citrus, some malt. Sweet, not a lot of bitterness, malty, with nice fruitiness that carries through to the end. StevieT (2013) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 3, 2014
From a bottle. Pours copper with a thin lasting head, malty aroma and super smooth, a bit thin with a malt finish. Nice.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2008 Not a large head, goes fairly quick ,smell is certainly of grapes, colour light browny red has a smell and a taste that are so much alike. It is not my type of drink but still it is a good drink that has a good malt flavour coming through together withthe grape giving it a tang yness that is mourishing. madquacker (1143) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - DEC 1, 2007
Was a bit concerned on reading this had Shiraz in it!! Poured a nice copper hue with a small head. Another of the amercian pale ale variety with citrus and a nice dash of salt at the back. Good. hawthorne00 (3948) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 24, 2010
Bottle, about 10C. Red-tinged amber with a small but tight beige head. Quite high bead, nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, wine, grass and flowers. Taste is mostly sweet with modest bitterness. The wine character is noticeable is odd but quite pleasant. It’s just a touch and adds a syrupy contrast to the otherwise straightforward malt as well as a little sourness. Unusual and pretty well done, but I could have done with a bit of bitterness to keep it from getting a bit dull. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2011
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a deep golden caramel colour with a small white head. Fairly fruity aroma with caramel and candy sugar in there. Quite piney in the flavour with dried fruits and citrus. Not too shabby Rangi (672) - NEW ZEALAND - APR 29, 2012
Rustic Brown poor with medium carbonation. Slight citrys and malt aroma dominating at first but give way to fruity notes and with the addition of the shiraz slowly becoming apparent as you sip your way through this beverage. Slight dry finnish on the palate. Enjoyable beer.
