Pours a clear red with a fair and lasting head - medium bodied with a nice smooth palate. Caramel, malt, fruits and hops. A very enjoyable beer.
[backlog] 25-01-15 // botlle at Merimbula YHA, Australia. Amber copper coloured. Nice fruity body, red grapes. Light herbal hop bitterness. Great. StevieT (2012) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 3, 2014
From a bottle. Pours copper with a thin lasting head, malty aroma and super smooth, a bit thin with a malt finish. Nice. fletchfighters (1528) - AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2014
Clear amber color with a tight white head that falls to a film.
Nutella, toffee, and some metallic fruity hops. Good nose besides the touches of metal. More of a pale ale really.
Tastes like a pale ale. Nutty caramel and some sharp earthy hops. Gets a bit dank as well. Still a little bit of metal.
Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Notes of Shiraz do pick up in the finish. Easy drinking beer. Not bad at all

From the bottle. Malt characters, some hops and caramel flavours. Generally smooth drinking and ok without much interest.

Interesting to try, this is considered a fruit beer even though the shiraz grapes really are just an accessory in this brew. Pours a clear light amber, minimal head, some reddish highlights. The shiraz comes out in the aroma as very slight, there’s mainly a medium caramel malt aroma and a slightly dank fruitiness. Tastes slightly acidic, a sharp medium caramel twang, with a small bit of generic citrus hop aroma. Not as impressive as it could be and definitely underwhelming. mattyhennessy (376) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - SEP 21, 2013
An amber pour, as expected from the shiraz addition. A surprisingly tasty beer, particularly for those who aren’t usually wine drinkers. Some citrus to match the sweet malt and hop bitterness, rounded off well with the shiraz addition. Definitely worth a taste. Gramoit (490) - Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2013
Little surprise this, was not expecting much at all. Caramel dominates the taste, with a little hop bitterness to round it off. Not a great beer but a very drinkable beer that was above average. M_Sack (719) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 21, 2013
Deep cloudy amber with a creamy head that dissipates relatively quickly. A malty aroma leads into a bitter caramel flavour, rounded out by the Shiraz which adds a distinct smoothness to the mid palate. A gentle bitterness cleans up the beer, making it very drinkable.

(Bottle) Clear amber with slight head. Pleasant fruity (stone fruit) aroma with hints of toffee. Light body with good fine carbonation. Taste is refreshing: fruity tang with balancing caramel toffee notes. Hint of bitterness in finish. Overall quite a decent beer.
