3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewery in Delray Beach, FL. Also took a growler home. Pours a jet black with an off-white two finger head in my snifter. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, caramel, cereal grains, and lactose. Taste is similar with a well balanced roasted malts to lactose too hops profile. Nothing too exciting, but a solid milk stout. Full body, some carbonation. Finishes strong like a malt shake. Creamy mouth feel.
Can @ Whole Foods - Bitter, almost burnt malt flavor hits the tongue and ruins the palate. Thin, watery, and not very good. Kinda yucky, actually. Too bad, cuz i usually like sweet stouts a lot. Resko (10) - - SEP 29, 2017
A bit heavy on the bitter roasted malt flavor. Looses some of the "milky sweetness" normally in milk stouts. Good moth feel. Finishes clean with a slight lingering roast/bitter chocolate flavor.

Decent printed can - Saltwater has good graphics usually. Chocolate milkshake, dark tan head on an inky pour. Roasted, slightly tarry, salty-savory-implied pepper notes in the nutty sweet aroma. A bit coffee-acidic for me, some sourness, decent roast, chicory, roast nuts - bordering on hazelnut. Body is interestingly pithy, but not dense or viscous - imagine hitting a block of balsa wood with a ball peen hammer - you know that there's something of substance there but the density is light. Not bad, a little raw still and it needs to get dialed in more. ABC Liquors, Bull Run. zoucrew102 (2048) - - AUG 12, 2017
Can, thanks Jared! Subtle aroma but it has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and milk sugar. Pours dark brown with a large, creamy mocha brown head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavors with notes of sweet milk sugar. Finishes smooth with chocolate and more milk sugar sweetness with the roasted malt character eventually overpowering both and lingering on the palate. Pretty good milk stout, but the roast overpowers the sweetness. Cybercat (6013) - Georgia, USA - JUL 31, 2017
Can. Pours rich coffee brown with a thick and fairly persistent tan head. Aroma is not strong, but promises roast malt, molasses and mocha. Flavor presents all of th above, just more sweet chocolate than molasses, and adds an earthy hint. Mouthfeel offers thin body, especially for a stout, and not much fizz. Overall, though, a good stout. Save the Manatee!

I wish I had read your reviews of this beer before buying a six pack! At any rate, a 12-ounce can is poured into glass. Black color with slight amber tinge when held up to light. Big tan head with lots of lacing as you drink down the glass. The aroma isn’t much of anything, although it’s somewhat sour, somewhat saly (like salt and vinegar chips) and definitely smokey on the nose. The flavor is ashes, vanilla, chocolate-covered cherries, with a lingering salty-sourness. The mouthfeel is slight creamy from the lactose, although too thin and lacking in typical richness of this style of beer. Cajun (539) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - FEB 27, 2017
Can, aboard Carnival Triumph out of New Orleans. (Got the last one - display can; big mistake). Pours black, no head. Flat, sour, burnt grain, gross. Poured most of it out. Got hold of bad can, likely old and spoiled considered the can was squeezable. Took a pic. Will re-rate when I get a fresh version of this. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2017
12oz can from Homer. Maybe this is supposed to be called Sea Cowboys Sour Milk Stout? Poured a dark black thinner to medium body with a smaller fizzy light beige head. Aroma is not good. Notes of pickle juice, sourness milk, bad chocolate, burnt toast, old coffee. Flavor is the same plus some brown paper bags. Medium body with stronger carbonation and luckily a quicker fading aftertaste.
