Named after our Florida Spiny Lobster who occasionally tend to ‘Walk’ in the shallow reefs and beach shallows off our coast in groups, foraging for food after storms. ‘Spiny Tale’ Pale Ale is a true pale ale, balance floral hops with a subtle malt backbone, gives this beer a very drinkable blanaced profile. This is a drinkable beer a great beer to transition into our Hoppier flavors.

Draft at the brewery in Delray Beach, FL American pint glass. Pours a deep golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma was bread, a little sour funk, and cereal. The taste bitter, slight hops, malty and a little salty with bread. I had to do a second look at the style next to the name. I’d swear it was an ESB, not a pale ale. Very strange flavors and aromas for a pale ale. Almost no hop profile and it wasn’t balanced. Disappointing from the new brewery. Light body, medium carbonation.

Draft at the Brewery. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light earthy hop notes, sweet malts. Light citrus notes, light earthy hops. Sweet finish.

Draft... Pours clear and deeply golden with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose is both grainy and grapefruity. Full-bodied and silky smooth with modest carbonation. Citrusy, bitter, grainy flavor. Finishes bitter, a touch buttery and tongue-numbing.

rumproasts (5543) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 27, 2014
Tap. Golden with small head. Light bodied pale. Slightly nutty with mild earthy hops. A bit below average.

italianjohn (3223) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Golden orange pour with a thin white head..... Aroma was light bread and grainy ... hardly any aroma or taste ... taste has a light bitterness, practically no hops, malty and a little salty ... do they use saltwater in the beer? Light body, medium carbonation ..... weak stuff but the abv was hidden well

50belair (3679) - Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2014
On tap clear yellow pour with a white head. Light hoppy bouquet. Light and refreshing. The hops are a bit bland. A bit nondescript. Average body and mouthfeel.

burg326 (5593) - Florida, USA - APR 12, 2014
Poured a light golden yellow color with aromas of pine, grass and grains. Flavors are grassy hops and pine a training wheels pale ale.

on tap-thin white-yellow/gold. A-soft lt/med malt, hint of pine/grassy. T-pine hops with some bite, lt malt-bready. Nice gentle/gateway pale ale.

Homer321 (5166) - Melboring, Florida, USA - FEB 10, 2014
Draft. A very clear light golden color. Minimal white head. Nose is lightly floral and citrus. Just a slightly honey like malt character. Rather sweet in the flavor with just a moderate hop flavor. Kind of peppery and grassy. Not bad but just soso
