draft pour notb has a pink color and looks like cool aid in the glass. aroma has odd herbs, lemon, and big sweetness. mouth feel is light and the flavors are not promising either. green herbs.sage, lime aid, sugar, and just all around medicinal. I am not sure if this was a joke of some sort but the beer itself is terrible. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2011
On tap at Night of the Barrels 2011.
Pours a murky dark red color with a very thin off-white cap after a swirl. The nose is really quite bad. WTF indeed. Very strange herbal notes with some tea leaves and quite a bit of solvent and medicinal notes. Like a bad fruit cough drop with some menthol. Very astringent. The flavor is not any better. It’s a very bad medicinal tea with some semi-sweet fruits in the background, I suppose. At least, I think that’s what’s behind the solvent. Really harsh and astringent. Slightly bitter. Truly something way, way gone wrong. Simply putrid.

Draft. Pours a cranberry body with a bubbly head. Popperie, medicinal, dish washer detergent. Tea and popperie bitterness with a huge aggression of spices. Vile tin coffee cans with paint brushes and dirty water. This is horrid. HonusWagner (2191) - Florida, USA - APR 4, 2011
The name says it all, an alcoholic boozy mess loaded with something like pure acid. Nearly vile, but I almost thought it was interesting enough to drink like half my sample, so it’s not the worst thing ever. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2011
Notb. I have to agree with the other raters here. This is a difficult mess to describe. A flowery aroma with hints of grass. The taste was a sour cough medicine disaster. It wqs like there was no base to this beer. It’s just a chaotic mess. So, I guess the name fits.
I was hoping for more.

Sampled from the tap at NotB. Poured a hazy ruby red with a bubbly white head that dissipated to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma was full of lavender, so much so that it kind of reminded me of the smell of a men’s urinal cake. Quite medicinal as well. Flavor was similar overwhelming with lavender and was not much fun to drink with medicinal and syrupy qualities. j12601 (12698) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2011
Pouring at the Night of the Barrels at EBF. Pours a clear ruby garnet color. Floral notes, hibiscus, rose water, black tea. Very medicinal and soapy. Seriously, WTF indeed. This beer was a complete mess, sweet and medicinal. Just too much stuff in here and way too messy. If this had only half of the extras, and maybe got soured up, it might be decent. As it was, it was certainly interesting, and one of the more talked about beers of the festival, and definitely a memorable one, but just not really a drinkable one.
