Named after our local railway station, Junction Ale is a strong 4.5 ABV premium ale. Brewed with Challenger, Bramling X and Goldings hops, the beer has a deep amber colour with a spicy hop character.

Cask at Bree Louise with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of raisin and dark grains with other dried fruits. Flavor has notes of raisins and dried fruits with a bit of bread backing.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a light toffee colour with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has apples, toffee and ginger. The taste is of creamy toffee and butterscotch. The palate is medium bodied and rich textured with a decent finish.

Handpull at The Harp (Chandos). Clear copper-amber decent frothy off-white frothy head. Herbal and slightly sour fruit aroma, a bit of alcohol. Taste follows, more intense bitterness. Slick, decent body, weak carbonation, dry oddly acidic tart finish. Not bad.

Pours clear yellowish amber with a small, frothy, off-white staying head. Aroma has malts, light caramel, some grass and hay bitterness. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and malty, light peppery, some toasted caramel. Fine, but rather bland.
