larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 18, 2013
Medium beige head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Roasty
toffee aroma with nutty caramelly fruity notes. Dry-sweet nutty
earthy caramelly taste with roasty dried fruit notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish caramelized sugar and
toffee aftertaste with earthy resiny wooden dried fruit and spice
notes. The finish lingers for a long time, with traces of rye
crisp bread. Complex, interesting, highly drinkable. A very good
beer. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo City.) Vogod (23) - FINLAND - FEB 15, 2013
Dark amber. Fruity, slightly candy apple like ale. Soft, medium hopped brit ale. Rather Good for the style, but nothing special. Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 14, 2013
Deep amber, clear, 2 finger off-white head medium long and leaves lacing. Medium strong aroma is malty: bread, bit caramel, bit dark fruit. Soft feel and carbonation, medium to light body, dry, just slightly bitter, dry finish, malty. Quite basic bitter, tasty and easy to drink but lacks "that something". visionthing (5287) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 13, 2013
50cl bottle from Varnaveien mineralvann. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Lightly malty aroma with caramel and notes of fruits and hops. Hints of roasty notes too. Sweet and lightly malty and fruity with mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Quite well balaced and easy to drink. Light to medium body with average carbonation. A bit weak in flavour and slightly boring, but still refreshing and nice enough. olio (10159) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 2, 2013
50 cl bottle.
presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 29, 2012
Pours golden color with a small head. Aroma of grass, fruits, mild malts and caramel. Flavor of mild caramel malts, citrus fruits and hay. Bitter palate. Refreshing.
Bottle. Nice enough but too many similar beers mixed in with some great APAs and IPAs weaken the style perspective. Dark amber. Light head. Creamy caramel flavour. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2012
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a tiny, rough white head. Sweet caramellish aroma. Light body, rather low in carbonation, sweet and caramellish with a peachy note. Subtle bitterness. Has a slight tartness to it. 271212 pintbypint (3575) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 26, 2012
500ml brown bottle. Orange pour, clear. Small sized head is creamy and white, clingy lacing. Aroma has grain, bread and a little sweetness. Taste has grainy biscuit malt, slight toasty notes, mild sweetness from caramel malt, slight tangy fruit note and some orangey citrus character. Light body, soft mouthfeel, plain finish, very low bitterness. Decent. reebtogi (6235) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
500ml bottle pours a golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and caramel with some pine. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness up front, finishing with a piney hop bitterness. Light bodied with some decent carbonation. Another decent English bitter, but nothing special. ration (2211) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 29, 2012
