50cl bottle from Varnaveien mineralvann. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Lightly malty aroma with caramel and notes of fruits and hops. Hints of roasty notes too. Sweet and lightly malty and fruity with mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Quite well balaced and easy to drink. Light to medium body with average carbonation. A bit weak in flavour and slightly boring, but still refreshing and nice enough.

Bottle at home over Sunday dinner. It looked good in the tankard, but beyond that it was another bitter, but with a malty sweetness to the flavour that left me uncertain. I wanted more bitterness, but maybe that was because I was drinking it with roast chicken when you need something to cut through the natural fattiness. Having a cold doesn't particularly help, but I did crave more bitterness. The mouthfeel was good though.

Cask at The Flying horse, Gatwick airport. Lingering beige head. Clear dark amber color. Tiny aroma ( as the beer was served too cold). Realy nice malty taste from light roasted malts and a tuch of chocolate. Some woody hop taste with a nice balanced bitterness.

Maltet, sødlig frisk smag af fersken, fint humlet til den lyse smag. God øl!

Not having read the other comments, did anybody else notice a similarity to Young’s Special about this one? And better than its current incarnation too with plenty of autumn fruits and a decent hop rate. Liked it.
